Research forQuestions of SavingLightingEnergyin Large-scale

Abstract: The energy-saving model of the waiting hall of high speed rail station was built to solve theproblem of that recent waiting halls of China’s high speed rail stations consume too much lighting energy.According to the field researches of the artificial lighting luminous environment in 11 typical high speed railstations，standard model of architectural lighting was built. The amount of current energy consumption wascalculated using computer simulation technique. By adjusting the architectural space，lighting design，lighting source and control system etc. ，the model was improved. The lighting energy consumption wascalculated by simulation，and compared with the previous energy consumption.
